It is time again for a view of my Ort Jar.  I am back to stitching so the new threads on top are from Butterfly Fairy Day and my new start.

 I worked on Butterfly Fairy Day last week.  I only have 3 corners to stitch and a little back stitching and this one will be done.

 I also put together another jigsaw puzzle - 300 pieces Garden of Peace.

 I made a trip to my LNS to get some fabric for a new start.  I came home with more than fabric.  This Joan Elliott book.  My LNS did the framing for the cover model.

 I saw this pattern online and it jumped into my basket.  I don't have alot of Mirabella patterns but I like this one.

 Got another floss box to put all of the thread for my new HAED.  I also got some more pearl blending filament and velcro to put on scroll rods.

 And here is the white fabric that I went into get.  I also got these smaller pieces of black fabric for some ornaments I want to make.

And I picked up this kit.  I love turtles.  And I ended up with all of this stash just because I needed some 18ct white for a new start.  I have started my new project and will post a picture next week after I have made some progress.

 I completed another 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle this past weekend.  I bought some more that were on sale and found several others at home while cleaning.  I guess I will keep putting them together as long as I am in the mood.

I did purchase another HAED during one of their recent sales.  It came in the mail last week.  This is Placid Waters by Mary Thompson.  This is by the same artist that did Little Fairies at Play that I am currently stitching.  I thought this one would look good in a boys room (in case I get boy grandchildren someday).  I just need more time and stitching mojo to get all of the patterns done that I have.  I did stitch yesterday and hope to get some stitching in every day this week so I will hopefully have progress to show next week.

WIPocalypse - March

 I have made a little progress on Butterfly Fairy Day - I will continue stitching on it until Sunday with the hopes of getting back into my rotation.

 Little Fairies at Play has received the most attention since the last check in.  Still on page one. 5,500 stitches complete.

And I did finish Give Much from Cross Country Stitching magazine on 3/4/12.  This is my second finish of 2012.

TUSAL

Here are my orts.  They are slowly growing.  They got jumbled up this time as the jar was knocked over twice.  I need to put these dates on my calendar as I thought today was full moon day.  Well I am only a day late.

 When I am really upset I cannot stitch even though I know it might be calming.  So I needed something to do and I found this 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle.  It was not cut very good and I had to re-do that thin strip of sky 4 times to get it right.  While I was working on this I thought it was alot like working on my HAED.  You concentrate on one area looking for certain colors.  Then you step back and can see the whole picture.  So I did get the urge to stitch on my HAED even though it was not up next in my rotation.

I put 800 more stitches in for a total of 5,500.  Progress is progress.  Sunday I did switch to a different project and I will see if I feel like going back to my rotation or if I will switch back to my HAED.

February WIPocalypse

 I worked on Butterfly Fairy Day and made some progress. 

 I worked on Little Fairies at Play.  Still on page one.

 Started Give Much and should have it finished next time up.

And I had my first finish of 2012 - Wintertime by Cathy Livingston.

I am going thru some personal problems right now and I am not sure how much stitching I will get done.
