WIPocalypse March

 Somehow this picture jumped onto my blog.We spent a day at the Auburn Cord Duesenburg Museum in Auburn IN last week.

 I worked on Summer Sensation since the last WIPocalypse.  Love the colors in this one.

And I worked on Little Fairies at Play.  I am much farther along than this but I have not taken an updated picture.  My goal is to finish this page by the end of the month  I have about 1200 stitches left.

This week we celebrated my Dad's 82nd birthday. Here  he is with my kids and they are all smiling.

 Last week I worked on Little Fairies at Play.  I moved my scroll rods so I can finish the top of page 8.  This is my focus piece and I work on it every other week.  I am getting it back out tonight after I finish this posting.

And I spent this past week working on Summer Senstation. Starting another flower. I love the colors in this one.

The weather is warming up and my tulips are poking their heads out.  I am looking forward to getting outside more.

WIPocalypse February

 This past month I worked on Little Fairies at Play.  Still working away on page8.  I am about half way done and will need to move my scroll rods after a few more blocks  I do work on this one every other week so it gets lots of attention.  I hope to get page 8 finished in under 10 months.  So far this page has not had alot of confetti.

 Garden of Faith, Hope and Love also got worked on.  Good thing this one moves quick as it doesn't come up in my rotation very often.

Butterfly Fairy Night was also worked on.  I only got to work on it for 3 days last week and none of those days was a weekend.

This month the question we are to answer is "If you have any pieces on display in your house which gets the most comments".  I only have 5 pieces framed and on display.  A small train picture in the living room, a larger train picture in my son's bedroom, a soccer picture in my daughter's bedroom and two in my bedroom - Angel of Cross Stitch by Joan Elliott and Summer by Cathy Livingston.  No one really comes in my house so I have not had any comments on any of them.

 Little Fairies at Play was worked on during this past week's rotation.  Didn't get to stitch on it on the weekends but did get a few hours in every night during the week.

Garden of Faith, Hope and Love was worked on the week before.  I just need to find more stitching time.

This week I will be working on Butterfly Fairy Night and hope to make some good progress.  Maybe I need to take a day off work and just sit and stitch.  A snow day would be nice.  lol

Faces of Faery 90 as of 1/31/16. This was for the HAED challenge. We had to stitch 10 x10 blocks diagonally.  Now I am back to my rotation.

WIPocalypse January

This month we are supposed to introduce ourselves and our projects and plans for 2016. I am Cathy and have been cross stitching since the late 80's.  I prefer large projects but do some smalls just to get a finish now and then.  My stitching time is limited as I work full time and spend time with my father.

You can see pictures of my projects on my WIPocalypse 2016 page. This will be my fifth year participating.

Currently I have 2 HAEDs in my rotation.  Little Fairies at Play gets worked on every other week as I have a weekly rotation.

Here are the projects I worked on since the last WIPocalypse in December

 Freedom as of 1/12/16. Not much progress

 Faces of Faery 90 as of 1/3/16.  I am currently working on this one for the HAED challenge

Summer Sensation as of 1/15/16.  I took this one on my annual trip to Rochester NY.

Not much progress as I got the flu and was too sick to do much more than sleep.

I hope to make alot of progress on all my projects this year and start a few more.

 These are my orts from 2015. I put them in an ornament.  First time doing this.

 And this weeks project was Faces of Faery 90.  I have 4,000 stitches done.  I am halfway done with this page.

And my ort Jar is empty and ready for a year of stitching in 2016.  I don't have too many new starts planned for 2016.  I want to get back into exercising regularly.  I should have more time as my father is now in assisted living.  I still go to visit him every other day.  But at least I know when I am not there he is getting good care.
